iDiet Thanksgiving Herb Stuffing Recipe

Makes 5 cups
1 pkg (6 oz) Pepperidge Farm One Step Stuffing Mix
1 stalk celery
1 large onion
1 tsp butter or margarine
1/2 C finely chopped parsley
1 apple peeled, quartered and chopped very finely
1 tsp dried sage
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
1 C coarse wheat bran
1 C stock
Finely chop the onion and sauté in butter for about 10 minutes until lightly browned. Add parsley and cook again for 1 minute. Meanwhile, heat the stock and put the bran in to soak. When onion is cooked, mix all ingredients together and stuff the turkey as you usually do.
