iDiet for Type 2 Diabetes Reversal

From the desk of Dr. Susan Roberts:

One of the most exciting research studies on diabetes in many years was published at the end of 2017 by a group from the UK (https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(17)33102-1/abstract). The study confirmed something that scientists have suspected for some time, which is that weight loss as small as 10% can actually reverse diabetes in half of patients taking oral medications and diagnosed within the past 7 years. That is a huge thing, and offers the possibility that diabetes really can become a disease of the past with effective weight management.

We at iDiet are thrilled with this finding, and since our average weight loss in participants enrolling for two back-to-back 12-week classes is 14%, we are now planning to start diabetes reversal groups. These groups will be both for people with Type 2 diabetes who want to lose weight to try and reverse diabetes, and for those who simply want to gain more control over their condition. iDiet is the leading program for hunger management, and the dietary composition of our menus, meal suggestions and recipes make iDiet extremely suitable for all people with diabetes irrespective of when you received your diagnosis.

If you are interested in joining one of our new classes please complete the following form and we will contact you when we are ready to launch our first class!

Please note: Because participation will have an impact on your blood sugar, we will ask that you work with your doctor and closely monitor your condition and medications.
